Do you use them?

Here is my collection, so far....

It takes so long to do, but I am doing it in case something were to ever happen. I know that it is worth a small chunk of change and it would suck to try to explain that to an insurance guy. At least this way I have prices it would cost to realistically replace all of them.

About 1/4 of the way through the collection.

"It's ok Officer, I watch a lot of cop shows on tv, so i am practically one of you guys." - sadly, that didn't work.

I don't - but it's only because I collect 45s and not albums or CDs or whatever else.

A lot of the stuff in my collection is obscure and has a good chance of not being listed on Discogs. And the submission process on Discogs is a pain in the ass. I need a database that I can catalog my 45s on and easily add record information, label scans, and the like without jumping through hoops.

So I use 45cat. Here's my collection so far.

As a side note, 45cat is a division of a larger site called 45worlds, which contains listings for albums, 78s, cassette singles, and other music media formats. However, compared to Discogs, it's woefully incomplete - which can be attributed to a much smaller userbase and a shorter timeline of existence. I haven't catalogued any of my albums or tapes yet.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.
