I was recently in Riga and a really cool Latvian friend took me to an after school activities/cultural center which was abandoned exactly as it was left after the collapse of the USSR. Pretty fun. A beautiful library with old books, including one on the topic of "How to Appreciate the Beauty of Your Work" -- lots of other rooms including a disco area on the top floor along with a stage and many old destroyed pianos.
Will be posting pictures shortly! It's been awhile since I've been on the forums -- what's the best way to upload & attach larger images? Can I host them elsewhere and embed them?

But turns out i'm not sure what's that place. If it's on geoacaching.com, i think i know which cultural center it is.....PM for you. ! 
Choose a photo-host website which doesn't automatically display original picture size (don't post original-sized photos, i guess these days all photos are 'heavy')

Yes, embedding is the best option because you can't really pst large pictures on the website. If you have a flickr, you can embed from there. I personally use Imgur. Just be careful and resize your pictures because the website doesn't do it. I find that somewhere between 500 and 1000 pixels is what works best.
