Album artwork you want to show off!
Blah Blah Blah. Shut up and open the damn door. "It's ok Officer, I watch a lot of cop shows on tv, so i am practically one of you guys." - sadly, that didn't work. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonno23/ All my photos suck. |

Back in 2007 ish I went to a Buck 65/Skratch Bastid show in Quebec City and Cadence Weapon opened up. Cadence Weapon is a Canadian rapper from Edmonton and is totally dope for those who don't know of CW. Anyway, bought his 2 albums after the show, and got him to sign one of them. The cover is just a group photo. He grabbed a sharpie, and labeled a bunch of people in the photo. It probably isn't worth a whole lot to most people, but it has a special place in my collection.
BTW, Love the butthole surfers.

It's much too much of a pain in the ass to dig out the albums in question, make sure my batteries are charged, take a few photos, dl the memory card into the pc, process it then host it, resize it and post it so I'm just going to link a few in from the 'net. Everything I post, I assuredly own, and probably in better condition than the majority of copies out there. Here's three of my faves.
"Are you happy now with all the choices you've made?" "Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed?" "Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay?" "Winners and losers... which one will you be today?" ***Social Distortion*** |

That Molly Hatchet is a pretty great album. I was just listening to it the other day. I had forgotten about it completely. Good Stuff Ed.

Love Grandaddy! Also, very cool to see Supersuckers stuff. In high school, a few friends and I from a band we had used to go to Tucson every weekend to see them play before they moved up to Seattle. Used to do desert after parties with them and everyone else that was in Tucson at 17 Poles. After we got good and drunk one night we played a cover of one of their songs Gravity Bill with an acoustic guitar my friend brought, and a few buckets and a piece of scrap metal we found in the desert for drums. My buddy Bill that played bass beat boxed his part of the song. They laughed their ass off and asked us to play at one of their shows. We played the next weekend at the Rialto Theatre to open.
One of my favorite memories ever.

i live in the dallas/fort worth area of texas and the supersuckers have played here more times than probably any other touring band in the country! (slight exaggeration) but i have seen them more times than i even know - they always put on a good show too. but the best show i have ever seen of those dudes was when they toured for "must've been high" because they did so with a FULL on country string band comprised of seriously old dudes who flat out killed it every single night. that record is pretty hard to find these days - well...you can find it but it will cost you. i made the mistake of not buying it the night of the show way back when and ended up paying close to $100 for it years later as for grandaddy - im not one to go on and on about how much a certain band has influenced me or had this and that affect on my life but i make an exception for those dudes...no other band does what they did and when they stopped playing together in 2006 i seriously felt a hole the size of a small planet in my gut. they have played some reunion type shows since then and i have seen jason lytle play solo several times - but the best was when he did a very special show in dallas with midlake playing as grandaddy - they called themselves middaddy for an in-store show they did in the afternoon and then that night they played in denton as grandlake. it was truly something to behold! rumor has it that grandaddy will release another record by the end of 2015 and will tour in support of the record too! jonno - if they play anywhere near where either one of us live...LET'S MEET UP AND GO!!!! 1.
