Posted by sunwulf we went a few weeks ago and got to do the whole thing basically, night time is very sketchy thought there are HUGE holes and drops all over the place! would love to go back if anyone is down!

I haven't been on here in awhile, but I'd be down to go. I haven't seen the whole place yet. Mainly the first floor and parts of other floors. Pretty much available anytime right now except for next weekend.

damn... The Falstaff here in St. Louis is locked up solid...
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |
|
"locked up solid", Cdevon? No such thing; you're not trying hard enough.

I hear from a coworker who is a former St.Louis resident there is a cave system connecting the house of the former owners and the brewery, there might be other means besides the building itself maybe?

GAAAHHH, this place is so badass! Great job on pics from the both of yall. Citizenkane, I like your upward angle shots of the tower, it really shows off how massive this place is. And Misunderstood, I think your pic of the wood door and the red brick wall is my favorite. But I'm seeing alot of buzz about wanting to go back. And, I personally have never been and would LOVE to go, so if anyone wants to help coordinate something, I WILL go!

Nice pics! I really want to check that place out...

Again, if you go at night be very careful. Here's a few of my pics:
I've also seen the outside of the Falstaff in New Orleans but don't have any pics on me. I do have some at home though.

Not true. But there are flooded cellars and they make a fun wader/floaty trip. Nice shots of the Galveston location, it's reminiscent of STL's version.

Update - had another chance to go back and spend a great deal of time exploring the entire complex. Word on the street a big Houston developer is in the process of purchasing it to turn into condos/hotel/shopping/etc because of its close distance to the current (and new) cruise terminals.
Here's some of my favorites from the trip
Coming across this in a pitch black room was interesting to say the least..

What's the current status on this place, anyone know? I went predawn and within an hour or two of being there, I suddenly found myself hemmed in by construction workers (oops), lol. Sheer luck and desperation got me out of that jam, but I'd sure like to give that one a proper explore if it's still viable.

http://www.galvnew...-b96a5c505db2.html Very slowly becoming indoor parking for cruise passengers? Article says it was supposed to be done by June, which isn't true.

Backslider and I were there about two weeks ago. A lot of construction going on. We explored for about an hour before security arrived and we had to leave. Not much left to see unfortunately....

I need to move to texas for like a month. I love the second photo. edit: sad to hear the construction has begun.
