Nice, man. I was in the other day, just to see what all has been done. Since it's work related, I assume you have some sort of connection. Are they planning on keeping all the tilework for the apartments?

that staircase is one of my favorites! Glad they are going to actually use it instead of letting it sit there and rot.

I'm not sure, I certainly hope so. They're looking like they're going to be very art deco in design so I would hope they'd leave a good detail like that. I'm working on their historic tax credit actually, so that they will be more driven to leave what little remains.

Great photo, I was really hesitant to lean too far over the rail on the top floor to get a similar one, they're really really rusted out at this point. How long ago did you go?
