Hey everyone I just heard that the Fogarty building got demolished yesterday, "the iconic building of the Ladd School". I know a lot of people thought it was a pretty crummy place….and it kind of was, but Fogarty was one of my fav buildings, mainly just for the uniqueness (is that a word?)and the long sordid history of the place.

Very cool building right there!! It immediately reminded me of this building at a resort that is currently being renovated.

I never got to see it when it was in its prime but once it got spray painted and smashed to shit, sadly the best part of the place were the exteriors.

Thats a pretty cool looking place, guess the cylindrical look hasn't really caught on yet!

Unfortunately it hasn't. At least that building will be saved, the whole resort is being renovated with plans to make it into a casino/hotel type place. I was talking to one of the workers there, sounded like we might have got permission to go inside if the "boss man" was there. We were five hours from home and leaving later that day, so I just took a few exterior pictures and we moved on to the next place. It was nice to see a resort being saved, most in the area have been torn down.
