The Polo Barn in Scotts Valley, the developer was supposed to preserve the barn and relocate it and build a park around it. They did not do this, instead they offered the city $1 million to demolish it. The city took the money and 5 days after taking these photos they tore it down. This barn was located at the former Santa Village's site and was the only thing that remained. Some info about the demolition: http://www.ksbw.co...uz/26695092#!6VWql A little history: http://www.pressba...he-Polo-Ranch-barn http://www.santacr...sion-historic-barn http://en.wikipedi...ge_(Scotts_Valley)

Seems like more and more threads on here have pretty blatant info on spots... Saying what city this is in really doesn't make it that hard to find on google maps (sure, this one is being demolished but a few others on here are way too revealing)

Yes, you are right. You should not post locations of sites. However, I am sorry I did not make it clear that the barn was demolished on 6/28/14 and this post is dated 7/1/14. There is nothing left at this site except for grass and trees. Yes, some posts are revealing to much location information.

Thanks for sharing your photos bonnie&clyde. The Scotts Valley Polo Barn is gone now. I was able to purchase a piece of the barn, in the form of a bird house. It will live on in a new form. http://www.santacr...rebuilding-octagon
