I really like the water fountain and ladder shots. The water fountain has some great shimmering, but the way the windows are so washed out it detracts from the rest of the frame. Maybe try playing around with different settings in post processing (try layer masks, or using brushes to select only portions).

Many of the shots lack clarity, if you can, bring a tripod along. They are extremely useful, especially with HDRs.

Work on getting sharper images, with less motion blur, better focus--watch ISO too. Another thing to take note of is your composition and lines, i.e. make sure everything is the way you wanted, straight, tilted, centered, etc. What do you want in the frame, what you don't want in the frame. In general, straight lines look better, but that doesn't mean something crooked is bad.

Hope this helps!

Re: Professionally shooting with a 17.1MP Sony DSC-W690, and those pics are locked away in my spank bank.

Dash: Thanks for the feedback.
