Thanks! It went well enough. Turn out could have been better, but at least I wasn't alone.

I'm always up for doing something like it again if there is interest.

Popped out again last night to check out a few spots I've had on my radar for a while.

This one was pretty gnarly, but that in itself was cool. It's like some kind of H.R. Giger fly catcher.

It doesn't look like anyone has visited in some time.

The ceiling looks like it's star studded...

...but look closer:

Same trip, different drain.

This one was fun. It's fairly easy to access, low water level, pretty clean, comfortable walking height, and a few interesting features.

Both are roughly the same height as the darkie.

It starts off with exposed corrugated steel, but of a thicker, sturdier variety.

After a few metres, it transitions to the same tar covered stuff from the one above, but minus all the spiders.

It also sticks its tongue out at you.

Another scene straight from Aliens.

Further in, it transitions again, this time to cast concrete:

Eventually there is a small room, beyond which it transitions to wood.

Victoria's oldest brick/rock sewer.

There is a larger section that's been walled off, but it still exists and may be accessible.

It is a little embarrassing to solo-spam this thread for so long, but it's been pretty dead here lately and nobody has told me to shut up yet, so:

Great little accidental weekend find. Hopefully back soon to check out the rest.

Nice stuff dude! The spider drain would freak me out!

You're not playing to an empty theater htp, you're just the only one on stage at the moment. Great shots, as usual.

Haha, I like that. Thanks!

And you'll probably drown going underground now, but I'm >>down<< once it stops raining.

OK, I finally went out to check on a few pipes. My hopes were not high, but nor was I ready for something this low:

The invert might be rock, sides and top poured concrete. 100m later, it turned into a squashed CSP, and I turned back. Ouch, my legs.

The way out is easier. Short adventure, but now I know what's down there.

Nice shots!

I just crawled out of a remarkably similar looking drain, but it's on the other side of the world.

Is that north of Victoria? It doesn't look familiar.

Yep, mid-island, as they call it. Got a few shots from another one that was a bit bigger. I`d like to keep looking around, but `tis the monsoon season.

Love this shot. Keep posting. I;m finding the same thing in NS. No one posts. I tried to start a post your newest but it seems like I'm the only one posting. I miss the drains, we only have Sewer/Water combined on this side.

I want to fuck this post. Awesome.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

Went out with Hack this morning, some good times of course. We revisited the Darkie and The Halls.. As expected nothing crazy in the way for pictures...

1 funny situation out of the whole thing though, when we were leaving the darkie. Hack luckily spotted a park ranger on the bridge that was straight across from us.... if only he looked up ;)

My New Video Camera & 650 + Lumens are making the shots very decent now

Hope you in enjoy the short amount of basic pics:

Cool shots. Glad someone is out there again, been a boring winter.

I checked out a new spot this morning, but couldn't find a way in yet. Maybe with some better timing...
