Pretty much what the title says. If you don't feel like posting in the Under The Garden City thread, dump all your Vancouver Island drain-related stuff here.

For starters, here's a really cool resource I just found. If you find the "Layers" button, and select "storm Drains" or "Sewers" It will give you a map of the city's storm drainage system... without having to go to city archives. Of course the map won't be 100% accurate, but it's a start.

Newer to this sort of thing. Are there any other tunnels/drains worth checking out besides the hall/burrow/darkie? Those are the only ones I've heard of but I'd like to explore some others

If you zoom all the way in you can find the pipe diameter, so you know if your going to fit ;) Though as you said they are not 100% accurate.

2 other handy GIS maps

Ive never found maps at city archives, I did chat with a lovely girl one day
across the way who printed out storm and sanitary for a "school" project. Only worked the once I try every year and get ignored most the time

been through DD and HoW, I have an idea of where Burrow is, and I'm gonna check it out with some buddies soon.

I've heard of a few other nameless ones, but not a clue where to start with finding those.

Hm?

Also I've been poking around for a few hours in what I think is the right area, but I've found nothing but small creeks and spiders.

If anyone can spare some more hints or even head down there with me that would be super appreciated! I need an experienced UE buddy

Sid

Burrow. Though after checking out some maps, I may have a better idea of where it is. But as always, pointers/tips are appreciated.

So far, me and my group of explorers have been able to go to the "hall of Wonders" multiple times as well as the "Douglas Darkie". We have plans to take on "the Burrow of the Beast" for our next adventure.

We have recently discovered a tunnel running underneath "Cook St" and we are hoping to explore that soon (problem is that the entry way is in the middle of the street and it's a busy street, so we are planning to do it late at night. We have also discovered a tunnel running underneath a local cemetery that we have gone inside, but we are yet to walk the full distance of the tunnel. Hopefully soon we will make that walk and document what we see.

That first picture is creepy as hell. That's what I imagine tripping on acid in a drain would look like

Very neat pics man, the 3rd picture is super interesting! Is this a manhole? If so I wonder where it lead/leads to.

Could be that other part of the drain that was blocked off in that room.

Indeed, I recall the situation which you are referring to, if that's the case that would be a neat score! Saying that, was there a lock on what was separating the rooms, and If released the structure would swing open? Or was it a permanent wall that you could only see through? I can't recall Hack.
