Posted by ArcanaDagger *sighs* as cool as it is that it's being refurbished (I really love when someone decides to fix a building instead of destroying it) I'm really sad about this. It's been a want of mine to get in here for the longest time. I've been dying to go into the records room. Oh well...

The records room was pretty Wild. Right across the hall from the actual morgue room, not the prop one.

I know a lot of people who filmed here and said it was great, but that security was pretty tight and wouldn't really let them go beyond their assigned areas.

It wasn't the filming which spanned 30,40 year. It was the wave of explorers getting caught when the internet lead others to find the this site during the hobbies explosion.

Really disappointed to find that the place was basically wrapped up when I went in May. Construction security on two sides and (barbed-)wire fences all around. There were some spots that had obviously been reinforced after people found weaknesses in the fencing. It's creepy from the outside anyway, but looking more and more like a generic construction site. This is what happens when people actually start caring about urban renewal :/

Hmmmm so they are turning it into an old folks home? Isnt this one of the most haunted locations in CA or am I thinking of another hospital in the LA area? Don't know why they would build an old folks home in an old haunted hospital if it is what im thinking haha.

I so wish I would have known about this place back when it was still possible to get inside and before the renovations started.
