The rain held off. Thanks to all who showed. The battery plant is on lock down these days. The bird was trapped in the water. We did our best to give him a pole to step on. Said goodbye to blue lockers 1.

We tried our best. His wings were soaked. He had been there for a few days

On the plus side, we helped another bird out of the hotel. That's actually why the vent is taken off in #19 there. Poor guy was very weak from being trapped inside for some time.
Anyway, this was all super awesome! I definitely had a great time and I'll be sure to try to make the next one. I'll post my pictures from this one later tonight. Thanks to everyone for being so awesome, too!

Nice shots Dammband! Awesome shots of the hawk as well. It was an awesome day, I got to see some new locations, and visit some old ones. Here are a few of mine from today. 1.

You really brought out the colors at the hotel turtle.
if it lets anyone sleep a little easier, later saturday afternoon I returned to the farmers market and extracted our little friend that we left behind. he sure looked happy to be out of there, and the look on his face looked sincere and thankful. after two hours he took off.
Wow, thanks for that dude! Im glad you could get him out of there, I was actually just wondering if he had gotten out ok
Great deal. What did you use to get him out?
My wife and I are very pleased to hear that the hawk got out. Did it look like he tried to use the pole we put in? Did you climb down and pick him up, or get him onto a board or something? We wanted to go back and help him, but we had hotel troubles and didn't even rememmber where the Farmers Market was. On a side note, I've got a bunch of shots to edit this week. Had lots of fun, thanks for taking us out! Looking forward to the Bham meet.

Finally found the cord for my camera, and... I'm not pleased with these but I'll post them anyway. No idea why I hardly took any, or why I didn't even bother with the flash or anything.
I also have no idea why I still bother with Photobucket. It took like 10 minutes to resize all of those, and then they went back to their original sizes, only now they're all pixelated. Never again.

Someone explain to me what that umbrella wheel chair thing is? Everyone had great shots - each set is unique

At the blue lockers school. First we found a wheel chair sitting out. Then we found a decapitated cpr dummy, so naturally we set him in the wheelchair. Last time we used a Tuba for his head, but when we came back someone replaced it with an umbrella.

OK, *who* in the hell brought all that damn stuff out into the courtyard. Whatever drugs were involved in that made one industrious and determined madman. But yes, great shots all around!
