Rest in peace, bro. Much respect.

Way too young. My best friend died at 39. 30's are when you're just starting to reach your prime mentally. He should have had many more good years

So true. When you truly stop worrying about what others think about you, and concentrate on what you want. He visited me at home (we lived 1000ks away from each other) not long before he died. He still looked so healthy (despite the scars). Despite offering to drive him to visit another CC member he said it was a nice day and he'd walk. That was it... he walked out of the gate and I never saw him again. We were told not to phone him in the hospital as things were so hectic. I'd heard that the end was very near so I phoned his girlfriend, but Predator picked up. I was never really close to Pred, but we'd sorted out our differences, and things had gotten much better over the last few years. The phone call was really hard. He said a few nice things - he sounded exhausted and warn out. All I could say was, "We'll never forget you Predator, I'll make sure of that". He died a few hours after I spoke to him. Pred doesn't need me to encourage people to remember him as his name keeps popping up due to the documents he wrote and the people he influenced. The church was overflowing (there were more people stuck outside than those that got in). Elders from an Aboriginal community spoke at the funeral (Pred stayed in an outback community for a period of time) among many others from his different walks in life. Predator probably would have laughed at the fact that, due to my height, I ended up squashed against his coffin every time I had to kneel down in the pew. The SydClan put on a great memorial in one of the main drains in Sydney. I need to make the time to visit the memorial again. Well, that was a bit longer than expected. Imagine what someone who was a life long friend would say about him
