This huge complex has several buildings, is completely unsecured and has repeatedly been hit up by arsonists and scrappers since the move to the new facility in 2008. The oldest building here was built in 1905. These buildings are all connected and you should plan for at least a couple hours to explore this place. I was here for three hours and did not see the whole facility. I will be back!!!1.

Fantastic! I need to take a trip here, as well.
"When it rains, just find bigger drains." |
Those are some fantastic photos. It is a shame the place had to be abandoned though as it looks like it could have continued on for many years.
oh snap!
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

Goddamn!

Geez, I tried this place a few years ago and not only was it locked up tight, but had live security guards on the premises. It appears that has changed.
In order to use your head, you have to go out of your mind. |

The real question is, are there tunnels?
If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public! If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet! Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies! |

I would love to see this!

Nice spot! Definitely seems to require quite a few hours and/or trips. Looking forward to more pics.

Awesome spot indeed. Thanks a bunch for sharing a place like this. It makes me more enthused for the hunt, knowing that things of this caliber exist.

could someone PM the location? I can trade for spots around Chicago
Exploring the Ancient Ruins of Modern Society.. Have you ever said, "I wonder whats in there." |
Wow! The place looks amazing. Any sub levels? Thanks for the share!
Yeah there are sub levels. The complex is situated on a hilly area so some of the buildings' first and second floors are underground.
Woah. What a fantastic building. Great set!
Wow! Truly an amazing location, I bet the morgue is fantastic! Storm drains are pretty fun out there as well. COngrats on not only the find but also your set of photos, gives a creepy vibe to it all.
