I'm thinking of exploring a small construction site around West Point Grey tomorrow night. It'll probably be max 20 minutes. Let me know if you're interested.

How about a potluck in a park on a Saturday evening? Keep it accessible and affordable. BYO-whatever. Talking, bragging, and planning exploration -- getting to know each other -- but no plans for actual group infiltrations, at least officially.

Just for example: The picnic tables at Central Park in Burnaby, not far from Patterson station, 6:00 p.m., Saturday June 28th?

Central Park being, well, kind of central to the Greater Vancouver area, and only coincidentally close to my place.

That's a little far for me (I'm living at UBC right now), and the date doesn't really work for me, but if it's just a planning meeting, I guess we don't need everyone to show up?

Burnaby sounds like a pretty good place to me. Around midway between the people in vancouver and out in the valley such as myself. Perhaps a little further for those more towards the east. A place somewhere near a sky train station in New West would be good too.

Either way, I think we should set a date for this thing relatively soon.
