Not sure if this counts as Urbex or not but I was in town visiting a friend and he gave me a tour of the city. I love graffiti so this was all amazing to me. We have nothing of this camber or quality where I am from so this was quite a treat. I cant imagine how some people dont categorize this as art. I even sat and watched a guy do a wall mural for a little bit. I apologize for boring you with shots of my car. The photo opportunity was too perfect to pass up. 1.

You'd love Austin's Hope Outdoor Gallery/Park at Castle Hills. My first trip out there was the middle of the winter, and it was absolutely empty. My most recent trip was a beautiful spring day, and there were (kid you not) maybe 200 people crawling all over it. Some samples of the stuff I thought was pretty slick: 1. The whole place is fair game. It attracts a ton of local talent, and a ton of disturbers of the actual art.
2. Some folks are damn talented.
3. Some folks I want to ask what they're taking
4. Some folks are just very... Austin.

Umm... I don't think you know which is which. Graffiti is crap that looks like a 4 year old with access to spray paint tried to spell their name; street art is a mural (not "letters") that was done with or without a can of spray paint.
