A cute little church I came across while doing some shopping in NY. Upon exiting the car, a neighbor walked over and asked if I was interested in buying it. I inquired, and it turns out this beautiful church (and the attached updated manse) were being sold for $350,000. It was built in 1869. Obviously with it being under real estate, it was sealed up tight. But I did manage to get some interiors through the windows. I hope whomever bought this church has done something good with it. It really is a beautiful building. Ignore the shitty photos - it was raining and I was trying to protect my camera.

That's a beautiful, albeit quaint little church, Skye.

I guess I'm like a broken record on this topic on this forum, but how can you claim to have the slightest interest in artistic photography and yet post a photo which has been so thoroughly and wantonly butchered by some hamfisted size-reducing process? The diagonal lines all look like the product of a 1980s dot matrix printer; congratulations.

Excuse her cell phone bro. Remember that other thread? All camera phone shots sucks! And just cause real estate owns something, doesn't mean it's sealed. Just have to be creative and sometimes it's already open. Rookies.

Well A) I Didn't post this in the PHOTOGRAPHY forum. So obviously I'm not trying to showcase these photos as some of my best work. and B ) I have no fucking idea what you're talking about because these were unedited photos straight from my camera? So yeah, thanks.

...BECAUSE urban exploring revolves around the quality of camera you're exploring with. All this time y'all thought it was about enjoying the beauty in decay??? Boy, some of you should feel so ashamed now for doing it wrong this whole time. *tsk-tsk-tsk* You want a masterpiece, ahhntzville? This is for you:

:-/ Skye, your thread’s been co-opt – but also vindicated. AV’s been around awhile, I think he’s being sarcastic (I hope), and the process I think he’s talking about is the upload compressor that UER uses. …course, I could be wrong. Anyway, man, for #350k, that’s a lot of square feet! If it can’t survive as a church would make a HUGE home or business (in taste). To echo A-Z, kudos to you – it’s obvious that exploration is in your blood when you you’re checking stuff out on a shopping trip! I may be coming up to Gatineau for a business trip. I know it’s not that close, but maybe I’ll PM at that time. Your dedication is laudable!
