This hospital is located in maysville Kentucky. It was originally built in 1915. The hospital added 2 additions in 1925 and 1971 which expanded the operations to a total of 87 patient beds. The landlocked and geographically-challenged hospital closed in 1983.
Of course, the former hospital site has been the host of numerous ghostly tales since its closure, hosting paranormal group gatherings where the spiritual seek out the ghosts of the institution.
According to several accounts, a woman carrying a baby was seen walking through the nursery area of the hospital. The woman, having died in labor, was soon followed by the newborn.
Others have reported seeing doctors in the hallways and hearing the cries of its former patients, along with spotting lights in the windows.
And the few have reported seeing strange markings in the basement that bestow a threatening hostility on whoever walks or drives by.

This place has really gone down hill in the past decade.
Funny story: a paranormal television program wanted my interview on this place for an upcoming series. I couldn't give my two cents due to my relocation but you might see this coming up soon!
(And the police/mayor don't give two %%%% about folks going in there...)

I didn't "feel" anything there and I usually do at places. All the things that occurred there, can be explained by nature: i heard door slams, sure. but with all the wind tunnels through the building, sure, open doors will slam! Then I heard this crazy scratching. I guess anyone else would run. but i investigated. It was a racoon in the ceiling. And i love on the site it states there are lights in the windows. well duh. urban explorers are in there at night. there will be lights and glows from within!
But it was really cool to explore. I never went there before, so i'll take your word on the decay. At least there's still good stuff to take pictures of. I've been to places that have been around a while, and things have been stripped till nothings left and the place is a disappointment to take pictures in.

Nice shots dude. I still haven't explored a hospital unfortunately but I will when I get the chance! Is there any chance you could post a few of these in color (if you don't want to it's all good)?

Cool place to explore. I've been a few times
One time we were getting ready to leave, I thought I would use the bush in the courtyard and as soon as I pulled my pants down I heard a horrible banshee cry that made me jump so bad. I quickly realized it was 2 cats fighting but damn.
