I suppose I should have an intro thread but I'm not one for rules I suppose.
Here is a sample shot I took while exploring with a fitness model (photographer by semi profession) debating the logo on photos on this board but also not a fan of photo thievery... If you know the place, awesome, and congrats on a visiting a cool spot, if you don't, sorry but it's recently now lost to us forever... I am working on having a few good spots to get some mild hdr backdrops for some images. i.e Joel Grimes style. Hope to meet you guys soon and have some fun around town and find some cool new spots.

Joel Grimes layers locations and studio shot models right? Is that what you are looking for? Or are you trying to bring models with you? I would imagine that Not having to bring the model with you will open up a lot more locations to you. Welcome to the forums. ~Amish

His thing is compositing, usually involving a highly detailed or HDR background scene and a dramatically-lit model. I've been wanting to do the same thing with my urbex shots. Joel's stuff is awesome--my own attempts, not so much (Exhibit Z: Zombies). Welcome to the fold, atlphoto! And congratulations on at least making your first post a shot of something you did and an introduction, rather than a typical "where can I explore around here" post.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I used to run forums where people would join to post once and not give back, hopefully I can contribute more soon. Yeah not bringing models with, you guys might get distracted. I know I would I just want to tinker with collecting some good frames to use for backgrounds in images. Thought the UE community here would be of assistance. Wish I could come out to the next event, I may try and sneak away from what I have already but we'll see...
