Nah.... I'll hang out for a bit yet. I genuinely enjoy the pics people share. And as out of date as the DB is in my area, I have still found some gems I probably never would have otherwise found. But the real bonus is the shear idiocy of said assorted 13yr olds, then the rampant lunacy that follows. I sold my boat last summer. This place fills the empty boat shaped hole in my heart.
Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

To the OP in 2014:
Farmers with shotguns, hmmm. maybe elsewhere most of the ones I know in Texas carry rifles. Shotguns are only effective out to 60-70yds depending on the load, if you let someone sneak up on you that close you probably deserve to get shot.
Rifles (depending on caliber) can reach out and touch someone beyond a couple thousand yards (experts) but even Bubba or Joe Blow deer hunters might hit you out to 5-600yds. You Canadians Google Aaron Perry and Rob Furlong.
Photography is not your strong suit? Well nor is it mine but that don't stop me from exploring or contributing. Just don't post in the Photography forums, half the photos in the Main and Regional forums are crappy, poorly framed, out of focus and uninteresting anyway but they do the job well enough and document the explore.
