Last June our family rescued a racing greyhound who retired from Sanford Florida at the age of 3.5
His racing name was Johnny Coolman, but we renamed him Cooper. Here is a video of one of his victories. He won 13 of his 97 races. http://www.trackin...=gsn%2420130419a14
If you have any questions about Greyhounds or adoption/rescue. Let me know and I'll answer anything you want to know! They are WONDERFUL dogs (and lazy!) that deserve homes. Most retire between the ages of 3-5 and they can live to 12-15 years old. They have a lot of life to live! They are great family pets and even make great city dogs since they don't require a lot of space (despite their size) They are pretty laid back, couch potatoes to be honest.
--Cheers!

Aww. He`s a cutie. Love the eyes. And glad he`s got a good home.
Gone for a while. Be back when I'm back. |
