This place is sweet!!! Huge thanks for showing me around on such a dreary day LT. Haven't had a chance to edit my pics, but pics coming soon.
Just wanted to thank LT. Oh! How could I forget!?!?!? Our new friend. What the hell was his name!?!?!? Jeff? I think. He followed us around inside the whole time taking pics. Said he lives across the street. Now that I think about it... I hope Jeff's cool about us taking him in there. If not. I predict it will be sealed by week's end.

Jeff did not follow us in I invited him to explore with us bc he was walking around taking pics of the other area and I asked him if was an urban explorer and he said yes.

This place has been open for several weeks now first time I found it it was closed or maybe I did not try hard enough to get in. Any was its a cool spot people try not to blow or up.

And pm if you want to go explore its not to far from my other post fort of secrets and I think both places have stuff yet to uncover.

Also pm if you are up for a topic secret mission in this area.

I stand corrected. You did invite him and he was a real cool guy. He was even interested in the UER. Said he'd check it out. I hope he does.

Thanks again LT ZERO for showing me a bunker that I hadn't previously seen.
Forgot to reset my ISO after shooting my son's sporting event, so the few pics I did take are a little off.

1. This one was an accidental shot, but I still kind of like it.

I would love to hit that spot. Reminds of the bunkers we used to camp in when I was in the Boy Scouts in the 80's. Park Services used to open them up all the time for group events. Less liability then I guess.

That's sounds super fun!
When I was fifteen I also was in the Boy Scouts. We stayed in the YMCA barracks. Still fun though.

Nice!

The site was never really in operation during WW-II, but the US Navy took it over & used it in the 1970s for unknown purposes.

Given that there is a "clean" room that reads "Chemical research Laboratory" on the door. Makes me wonder if they were testing chemicals in there!!!
