What are y'alls experience with the old railroad tunnel on the east side? I've never gone in, but the closest I've ever gotten is checking out the stuck bridge over the Seekonk, is it worth taking the trek inside? Any cool tags?

It's pretty cool and definitely worth a look if you're nearby and it's open (last I heard it was sealed up but I could be wrong; I don't live in the area anymore). There aren't any cool tags, really, but it's still pretty bad ass. The front portion of it is flooded to about knee height maybe, depending on how tall you are, so make sure you wear crappy clothes you don't mind getting filthy and smelly.

I took some pictures of it in the Spring of 2012: https://www.flickr...72157629804812698/ The entrance that was cut into the barricade has recently been barred, and I paid it a visit last night to confirm.

It seems to always be open for a bit then sealed for a while and the cycle just repeats. Give it a little while and check up on it here and there and one random day it'll probably be open

That place gives me the creeps. Thanks for this! Providence is one of my favorite cities anywhere; nice to see it cropping up on here! That stalagmite is sick; I wish old abandoned country mansions could have some stalagmites, too...
