While visiting from Atlanta, I had the chance to check out the famed New Orleans amusement park, and, after many run ins with security (they were building a movie set) I was finally able to get in. Didn't stay long because security was so tight, but I managed to get a few pics.

Yeah, I was quite surprised at how run down it was. And a lot of it has been scrapped as well.

Yea ive heard of several plans to re-develop the land but nothing ever seems to work out.

Sucks this place is getting so beaten up but I can't say I'm surprised. Oh well, I still like seeing shots of it since it's too far away for me to ever visit. Glad you got to see some of it!

Thanks! I'd say it's pretty damn easy to get in there on average, I just happened to go when they were filming.
