On a warm night in February I met up with Yeya & Deathproof in downtown. From there we were originally going to explore a certain building, but due to heavy pedestrian traffic, we decided to go elsewhere. I myself made it my initiative to return there after the three of us were done exploring and do a camp-IN to wake up in the location and capture natural lighting photography: Semi-irrelevant, but hilarious: 1.

What, no pics of the desk on the other floor?

I am saving that little spot for you because mines can't compare! Show us what you shot, Yeya

Yep. That seems like the right amount of bathroom rope.
Alas, poor Therrin. I knew him, Horatio.

That was electrical wires, Johnny. It only looks like rope.

Oh dear, are they going to ban tresp assing too? * * * That elevator runs Windows XP? (maybe 2000?)

Thank you. I do my best with what I have. This past weekend I recently went back there just to enjoy myself in tranquility, and it's always so serene being there on top without a care in the world.

Believe it or not, the front door is unlocked. To answer your question: NO(I think); the club/building became abandoned sometime in the late 2000's. I will go back to my photos later today and check on that. Does an elevator need a computer to run? The computer itself is always on that same blue screen saying the memory dump was successful.

RE: Crypton: Sorry for the late answer, but, yes; I went back yesterday, and while I was there, I checked on it. That old computer from 2001 operating on XP runs (ran?) the elevator. You sure do know your software! Apparently, the last time that computer was used was back in January 2012.

That is too weird considering the elevators are always on.

More shots from another time I returned to shoot that desk (since Yeya left her lens cap on, AGAIN): Easiest POE in the world: 1. ...with food and beverages at your disposal: 2. The chandelier still hanging above to remind no one of the dancing, mingling, and great times that went on inside this place: 3. The lonely bar: 4.
The following 4 photos are from the basement that is a control room which runs into the bottom of the street and contains some type of water treatment with 2 water tanks: 5.

The upper floors above the club part of the building: 9.

The elevator its self doesn't actually use a computer to run. It's just a terminal that has a serial interface usually to the PLC system that runs the elevator. The computer terminal shows you status, where the car is, the speed it's traveling, direction, etc... But has no baring on actual operation of the elevator.

So I CAN take the outdated computer, is what you're telling me. Thanks, Esprod ;)

What panel!? I don't remember that. And no, those secret torture chamber shots (the "secret harem" behind the janitor's closet, as I refer to it) came out with orbs, not worth my time for the uploading.
