Accidental Double Post - Can A Mod Delete This?

So, I'm chillin' in Erie, and I see a few things that I'd love to discuss with somebody. But I don't have anybody to PM. Do we have any Erieites around here to chat with?

Pic related.

Kewl tower, man! It always pleases me to see the entire photo of where a person's account photo was taken.

So what is the story behind it anyways?

Hope you find some other Weirdos (Eerieites, or whatever) from your location on here.

That's the symbol of Erie, the Bicentennial Tower. It's always a beauty when she's closed for the winter season.

I hope I find somebody around here, too. This town was booming in the twenties. Now, it's an industrial wasteland.

Ha, that sounds like my kind of playground! Keep searching, you will find some locals from your area soon enough (hopefully). If you were in Pittsburgh, I'd point you in the right direction to other explorers... Oh well.

It's lovely enough, but it's always best to get an inside scoop on a site first. These places were, for the most part, not killed through buyouts. They had their own Love Canals, asbestos spikes, or security threat that could get an explorer killed or arrested.

Living in Erie here, and I just started exploring. So far I've only been to H.F. Watson, and I've had trouble finding anything as big in the area. If you have any tips (or questions answerable by a new guy), it'd be much appreciated!

There is one other spot I found that I explored, and another I've scouted but haven't explored yet. A site doesn't have to be as big as Watson to interest me, I do houses and small places as well.

I just moved to Jamestown, NY - East of Erie. I'd be down for any exploration you might be planning, but I don't know any sites in the area yet. I've done a little bit of urban exploration in the past but am looking to gain some experience and meet some new people to explore with. I'm also trying to get into photography, so if you want a camera guy, I can be of some help.

I am in Western New York, only a little over an hour from Erie. I would come down to do a day of exploring for sure.
