Hey everyone,

I'm new to UER, but have been exploring MSP/STP since 2003. Just wanted to reach out and meet other experienced explorers. I've explored most of the places in the area, although there are a few that I have yet to gain access to.

Holy shit, there are a lot of n00bs coming out of the woodwork in MSP!
I guess that's what happens when you have such an amazing part of the country to explore, and right out your front door, at that.

That's not a bad idea. Let's seal ToT up.

Noobs.. Clearly you didn't read my post. I can see some are here posting just to post.

Clearly you misunderstood my post. You are technically a n00b to UER, good sir, regardless of how many years you've been exploring.

Welcome to the forum.

...wait, is there something wrong with posting just to post?

Oh, and welcome to the forum. UER is hard on new folks/noobs (even if they've been exploring for 20 something years), tough it out...you'll make it. ...and by hard, I mean...outright douches. Ha!

Haha, as I've ventured around this site I've started to figure that out. Thanks everyone for the 'warm' welcome. I found it odd that there was a UE community that would just put all of this information out for public use. Glad to see it's the complete opposite.

I've read through a lot of the forums on what to do/not to do. As well as what is suggested that you do to eventually have a chance at becoming a full member.

Outside of what is said in the general forums regarding that, any suggestions on what I should be focusing on doing as far as posting, uploading pictures etc?

There's a lot hidden from new members. You have to become a full member to view. However, a lot of explorers I know don't use the DB or even post locations to the DB. I'm sure you know there's more out there than UER's DB. ;) Don't be a 'database explorer'...there are plenty of those here.

Alright thanks for the info. I have found a lot of places using various sites. But also do a lot of searches for newly abandoned places in the cities.

My best advice would be.. definitely do your best not to post any photos/information that could even remotely give away the location. The MSP community will give you hell. Heh. That being said, share and contribute enough to build a positive reputation for yourself, but don't over-share to the point of revealing locations.

If you had to crawl through a small hole to get in to a location, consider not putting those pics on UER.
