Treked down to San Diego County this afternoon to scout a water park I had read about once, but couldn't find hardly any information about. I had never seen it on the site before, so I thought I should share. It is quite a hidden gem. The park closed down in 2004 and it fairly well-hidden in the lovely hills. The water slides are really well-preserved and safe to walk down which is great fun. Small park, but looks pretty good after ten years of dormancy. There is a mobile building on the property though that people are working in during the day, so be wary. They did seem to see us and drive by us in their vehicle, but did not make any verbal fuss beyond that. 1.

Is this on an Indian reservation? That mushroom looks very familiar; I think I went to this park as a kid a long long time ago.

Wonderful work! I've always dreamed of an abandoned waterpark. Love the last photo!

Yes it is - I cannot remember which tribe exactly though. I grew up in Southern California, but never heard anything about this park, though definitely drove by before when we would go camping. Goes to show how tucked away it is.
