That 944 is in pretty tough shape. I'd probably offer about half that, a Porsche isn't really a car to "burn rubber" in like the ad says. And anybody who has done a clutch in a 944 would never try to burn rubber again!!

^Holy crap, that is rather awesome. I was thinking the other day, I haven't seen a 2 door Chrysler L-Body in about 10 years. I loved the later Plymouth Turismos/Dodge Chargers.

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ559329560 - Late Bugs just look wrong with early style bumpers.

http://ontario.kij...W0QQAdIdZ550487497 - Has a rebuilt "carmen ghia" motor in it. That's great, but it's spelled "Karmann" and they had the EXACT SAME ENGINE AS A BEETLE SO IT DOESN'T MATTER. I had a guy tell me once that he put a Karmann Ghia engine in a Beetle and the thing would do wheelies. Must have had really heavy fasteners and too much oil in it.

Too much. I'm thinking it's a $3500 example if it is as nice as the pic makes it out to be.

You could buy one including air fare and road trip expenses cheaper in the South and have a story to tell as well. People, do this!

Yep, or come out west. Weve got shit still driving around that the rust belt hasn't seen in 20 years+. All the cavaliers, berettas, escorts, and whatever else rusts away. Except of course for Toyota pickups, those rust just as fast lol
