I found out he was faking it only a few weeks ago. Still glad he's back with new videos. I've always enjoyed them.
From what I read, I think he is now out of the video business. The ATF claims that if you are making income using (even legal) explosives like Tannerite, you have to have an explosives manufacturing license. That is what got them the warrant to search his and his fathers residences.

It seems the FPS Russian crew are looking to make new videos despite all of this. This was just the jackbooted thugs at the ATF finding an excuse to search the farm for clues to a murder them and the FBI are still in the dark on and making excuses about why they conducted the raid as well as letting the FPS Russia crew know they can and will jam them up over bullshit if they want to make noise about it.

while I disagree with the AFT on a lot of points, I have to agree on the explosives issue.
Back in 07, I attended a machine gun shoot in Florida. They brought out some old junk cars and inside of some of them was a tennerite "bomb", When the 2nd or 3rd got hit, it blew the car apart. Shrapnel flew into the crown and as far away as the parking lot several hundred yards away.
Moral of the story, at least if you have a license, you should know how much is too much and its outcome of what you place it in.
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.
