Ok guys we are car guys. This is a car game. I don't get to play much but have started messing with the online part and ho lee sheet. It's fucking epic. So why don't we all add each other? I'm lashingchaf70 (I think) and on xbox live. Anyone else?
I don't get on Online very often but my GT is supertzar07. I'm loving single player though, I've been taking my time and just beat the story, still plenty to do.
Won't you help me, Mr. Jesus, Won't you tell me, if you can When you see this world we live in, Do you still believe in man?
Posted by bandi I think I need to upgrade from my playstation 2 some day... I'm still playing enjoying Vice City.
Do it. Prepare to have your mind blown by just how more realistic things are in Los Santos vs Vice City.
But seriously, this should be your next big ticket purchase. You will not be disappointed.

Posted by yokes I've never played the online component. What's added?
It's basically a big sandbox type thing. You can buy your own house/apartment or just a garage (some domiciles will store up to 10 cars...we have an apartment with a 10 car garage with a mechanic who automatically repairs any cars we bring in) You have a choice to do missions involving the characters from the main storyline, play with others, or go solo. There are death matches (some involving vehicles), flight training, races (rally and circuit), survivals, "capture the flag" type missions, parachuting, etc. After the initial tutorial, you can choose if you want to start a mission or just roam around the map at random.
You can own helicopters, boats, planes, and cars. Most can be modded. The are some vehicles exclusive to online play.
Also, all owned vehicles can have insurance purchased for them in case you accidentally drop your car in the drink or some random asshole destroys it. If someone else destroys your car, they pay for it.
For Christmas and New Years, they actually made it snow in the online game. It not only affected how cars handled, but you could make snowballs to throw at people.

most of the time GTA Online is like Lord Of The Flies at 110mph. I will kill you if you look at me wrong, and yes, I will blow your shit up for the trouble you have caused me. You think a bad sport lobby scares me? i am the angel of death in Los Santos.
I play this game ALL THE DAMN TIME... i have something like 50 days total game time and I think my longest session is 8 hours. Money is key to online play. Everything costs money. Weapons, ammunition, armor, car upgrades... Our crew made our money doing crew challenges before Rockstar got wind of some of the payouts. We made a mint off them.
As the game stands right now for the Xbox360 user, you can have three properties and as a result up to 30 cars/trucks/bikes. There are also numerous aircraft and other machinery that can be accessed through the pegasus number on your phone.
Posted by gambino I am on Xbox One. How about you? 360?
still on the 360... winter is a becoming a bit pricier than I had hoped as well as my Subaru needing parts and service so it will pass it's annual safety inspection.
