15 years ago I got divorced and I kept, my ex's dog, truck, and desktop. None of which I really liked, but it was all he had worth anything, and he really liked them so....ya I know, I'm a horrible person. Anyway, my little sister finally convinced me after a year or so that I needed to turn the computer on and learn the internet.

She said I had to have a nickname for messengers and gaming. I was too un-creative to come up with one, so she chose "Scorpio" because she felt that my personality matched my sign, and she also thought it would be more advantageous to not have an obvious feminine name, and according to her Scorpio is ambiguous sounding.

I used it for everything for years, until I started playing World of Warcraft and suddenly every variation of that name was taken. Well being the uncreative soul I am, I had to come up with something that dozens of other players hadn't already used a ton of spelling variants for. I decided it'd probably be strategic to ignore my sisters advice and go with something uber girly sounding. I figured something girly would be unlikely to be taken, and I had already been using Scorp and Skorp a lot so it wasn't really a big change to add a sy to it and voila Skorpsy was born. = ) The cutesy, less ambiguous, more girly version of Skorp. I no longer do much online anymore, but Skorpsy is still my go to name. = )

So first off you have to understand that I am a total WWII history nut and reenact Second World War German Army (non political affiliations, purely historical. Nazis are bad). A Landser is an slang term for a German soldier, and I kinda think it sounds cool. I almost put my username as SSGJoe because my first name is Joe and my father is a Staff Sergeant (SSG) in the United States Army. I am new to the community and hope to be able to get contribute more to this community, especially once football season has ended.

Before jumping to conclusions, I'm not a Nazi.

"urban" from urban exploration, and "werewolf" because I really love werewolves. it's kinda lame because I didn't wanna use the alias I usually use, just in case ;)

Well I know "pip" came from Charles Dickens's novel Great Expectations which I had to read at some point in time. I can't exactly remember why the "lol" was included, it just seemed to roll off the tongue nicely.

Waaaaayyyy back ( 25 years ago ) in high school... I called someone a 'wheedle-dick'. Noone else knew what 'wheedle' meant, so it kind of stuck. When the internet started becoming a big thing ( think usenet and IRC days ) I figured Wheedle was as good a handle as any...

Well, back in, like, 2013 I really thought I was going to make music. Specifically, 80s retrowave like Perturbator. So, in a fit of genius, I decided to name almost all of my accounts "KASTRAX". Now, for the purpose of making things easy to remember, I just stick with it.

My name goes back to when I was a world famous graffiti artist piecing trains (yes I'm that Dougo).
Prior to the accident I had great can control so I loved doing curves which is why I chose the tag Dougo.

Peace.

PS. Dumbass spell checker doesn't even recognise the Dougo. Aerosol artists around the world would be rolling in their sleeping bags.

I was looking for a name to use to identify my photography other than simply using my name (you know... to be recognizable or some shit) and asked for suggestions from my friends and family for a name. My sister actually came up with "Forgotten Beauty" which I like the sound of so I slapped "Photography" on the end and we're off to the races.

You know, metaphorically speaking.

One of my favorite books is Ubik by Philip K. Dick. The name was taken when I created my user name on playstation. So I set it to IMubik (as in IM ubik). Most people I met didnt get it and just called me immubik... instead of Ubik. The new name stuck and so now I use it instead of Ubik
