Another spot on TI worth seeing is the stunning Building 1 (Administration.) It was a museum, and a rentable space for a while (had my senior ball there ._.) but I think they closed it when SF bought the land. Really fantastic site with incredible history, but I'm sure it's locked up tight. Even has the old control tower for the seaplane terminal.

I second that motion! The basement level is especially cool (& historic). I don't know what personnel are normally in that building today, but back when I prosecuted that target, the workers stayed out of the basement level because it was spooky (true!) & some claimed it was haunted.

2-6 are from the northern most building, 1 and 7-10 are from the southern building. (I think. It's hard to tell them apart now.) Glad I was able to go here before anything else changes. When we were leaving the first building, we noticed someone painting over the phaze in #4.

I went with two friends yesterday here, a police car rolled up on us and asked what we were doing, which we responded photography, then told us politely to leave. Some other time i suppose.

I'm not surprised anyone got robbed here, with job corp right there. Better than getting shot in the head though like a SJSU student did. (job corps is no longer near SJSU)

You can take your explore buddy along -with booties-- unless the air is too dirty. But when that happens usually those places have no one hanging around (in that case take 15 other friends)

I am so very curious about how you guys got in there. My friend and I went and scoped out the entirety of that area but the bowling alley was shut tight, as was the movie theater. We even climbed that insane fence into the pool and climbed onto the roof of the bowling alley just with the hope that there might be something on it but nope :/ We scoped out the barracks as well but couldn't think of a way in, if you would be down to tell me how (maybe I'm just an idiot and missed an obvious entrance) I'd love a PM

PS this is what the fence did to me at the bowling alley.

It was boarded up too tight for me to find an easy way inside.

I was recently taking photos in this area and decided to check this place out. There where quite a few POE's this time around, and while I was inside I encountered two other totally unrelated groups of explorers. They showed me how to get onto the roof!!
