6 Wings, 4 Floors, 300 rooms

Couldn't find a non-archived thread on this place, so here we go...

This was a rather densely packed barrack building, with a circular footprint. Six wings spread out hexagonally, with about 12 rooms per hall:

This was quite an exhilarating adventure and one of my all time favorites.

1. Kicked off the day with this cute thing:

2. Pressing onward:

3.

4.

5.

6. Finally made it to the center of the Atrium

7. Looks like someone was living there for A LONG time, but none of it seemed fresh

8. Fourteen rooms per hall; 6 halls per story, 4 story.

9.

Amazing stuff! Passed by on one of my earliest explores, but chickened out in actually entering after seeing those happy #1 signs around. Now I regret it.

Love #2 and #5! Shame about Girafa; not a fan of graffiti, but his work always amused me.

I'm curious about these horrible things...is there a reason why more explores don't visit this location?

Thanks for sharing, GB!

not for about two years, sadly no. even then it was brief. about a year ago we checked back to find the pool was boarded up too & the gym is half gone at best.

Last flea market out there we scoped it out, everything seemed to be the same as the time I checked it out about a year ago, but there was lots of security. We were walking around and I swear we were being followed by security trying to be sneaky themselves, parking way far away, peeking around the corner of a building, that sort of thing, thankfully I'm sneaky too and we spotted him (them?). Now that I think about it, maybe a visit with less others (i.e. flea market goers) might be a better option, they might have had extra security just for that reason.

Nice job Guybrush. I was out that way last weekend at a different location and when I got home I got a tip about that place but I haven't been back to check it out. It's been on my list for a couple of years but I've never managed to get in to visit. Hopefully I'll have a chance to get it before it gets sealed up again. I think there have been several visitors recently.

I went past there last weekend. It seemed to be closed up tight from what I could see and even the pool now has some new fencing which will keep most people out unfortunately.
