#2 The stairwell was probably my favorite feature of the building, the craftsmanship of the railing was superb, all hand made, you just don't see that anymore.

Looks like the same x-ray room that was on Alameda family hospital - is that place still around? I remember it was locked up tight after a few visits. The drywall had this weird monkey shaped hole in it for the x-ray room, lol.
I love the x-ray shots you all have of this place - though with all the tagging I don't know if I could go. Seems like I've been missing out on some things!

One can never know in this business we're in. One week a place could be open. The next it could be boarded up tight, or it could be the other way around.

I don't think it is. My roommate and I tried searching for it and found where it used to be. It seemed to have been demolished. Unless we found the wrong spot.Then again I was told this place was gone over a year ago.

I don't think it was demolished. Im originally from that area and probably would've heard something about it. Ive always heard its been locked up tight, but heard of a way to get in. Im gonna go check it out soon, so I will report.

I was there last month. I haven't heard of any plans to demolish it.
