That's because the 1993-Death version is probably the most indestructible vehicle ford's ever made.

mine is the "dual sport" mazda, so the 4x4 torsion suspension with 2wd. get underneath and its surprising, the thing is built like a brick shithouse compared to other small trucks.

I've got the same truck! The ground clearance for a 2WD is nuts.

Mangers are made out of stronger materials than Sebrings, apparently.

(And this was before I put the trailer hitch on!)

I went to the dump, turns out the dump was closed. Was waiting at a red light and kaboom!

It was not a successful dump trip but the truck was absolutely fine, the damage literally buffed out. The uninsured crackhead's Sebring... not so much.

Don't text and drive! Especially if you're uninsured and have a suspended license!

sounds like the ranger section of the ford website will have configurations and pricing listed sometime next week after an inaccurate leak on their site showed prices for a regular cab rig setup. only problem is that Ford as claimed there will be no regular cab.

In the first week of April I ordered a 2021 Ranger XLT FX4 from the local dealer. His original estimate was going to be 20 weeks until delivery. I'm about 8 weeks in so far and its still in "scheduling"

i like the look of the new Maverick, but i don't need or want 4 doors... i am wondering if there will be a normal or just extended cab involved.

I bought my 2014 Ram Ecodiesel for $20k last year. Had 132k miles.

I'm sitting at 141k now and the dealership has called twice, once offering $25k and the last time $27.5k

Trucks are a better investment than gold at the moment.

a friend of mine down in Florida has a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack widebody he bought brand spanky new. He just traded it for a brand spany new Challenger, basically the same thing he had. The car had less than 32k on it... they gave him $42,000 on trade for the car! Even my little shitbox is worth almost what I owe on it, even with a 6speed manual and 58,000 miles.

nuts

Anyone want a fairly solid 2003 B3000 Dual Sport with only 410,000 km? It's a MANUAL!

Truth.
Up until recently my landlord had an early 2000s Tacoma extended cab. Daily driver, in decent shape, no exterior damage and your typical non-cancerous KY surface rust on the underside. Not sure what the mileage was, but he was asking $9k for it and I believe he got exactly that.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

So with the Ranger/small truck thing- I just sold my '03 Mazda B3000 for exactly what I paid for it in 2017.

I've put 70,000 km on the thing, replaced the water pump, an alternator and a some oil changes. Never once had a wheel off of the thing- and I kept the Pioneer bluetooth stereo it came with.

But I really, really like what I replaced it with.
