Figured Id put a post up here too since it will at least see the light of day, the MV board has been stupidly slow lately. I am the mechanic for a private collection of WW2 vehicles and we have just a bit of fun lol. The collection includes a M5A1 Stuart and a M4 Sherman tank as well as others but those are the 2 notable ones. Heres some pictures from the last few years of our shenanigans....
Shooting the Stuart's 37mm main gun in Casper, WY:
civil war re-enactor shooting the AA .30 m1919
taking the Bren gun carrier to a show:
New Carburetors for the Stuart's twin Caddy V8s:
Workin on one of the radio sets:
1944 Dodge Command car:
1942 Dodge Fire truck that we saved. This truck is OD green under the red paint and was the post firetruck for Ft. Logan in Denver during the war. It was then a local small towns truck in use up until the late 80s.
Crappy pic but this is the only one I've got of the Sherman. The engine is out of it currently for a rebuild and new clutch.
Ford GAA. Think that all aluminum DOHC 32 valve engines were new technology? Ever wonder what powers a Sherman tank? 1100ci of awesomeness.
1945 Kubelwagen. Not a reproduction...
We have just a bit of fun LOL

Shouldn't the Bren carrier have British markings? I love that Kubelwagen. Bet it's a bitch to find parts for, though. I'd like to get a WWII Jeep and dress up in costume to go to shows. That'd be awesome. Thanks for sharing.
