As someone who does not live in the US, can you perhaps explain this to me? Assume they are joke cars - like painting a Hummer yellow and putting Pikachu all over it. They are designed to make people laugh and point with humor and glee, or is there another underlaying reason why many seem to do this to cars? Neko.

Looks like it has ontario plates. I need to meet the creator of this Grand LeBaravan.
(edit- going by the "Kirkfied Lift Lock" sign in the background- this beast roams within an hour of my home town. Excellent.)

I'm going to buy an old gm panel van, paint it radial can black - then put howling volves and lord rick cascading out of a smokey burn't orange and blue fog, put the moon up there.
That way every one driving buy will know how awesome i am.
That's the logic to those cars.

on a sidenote, that reddit post has a lot of bad brakes, i dont know how people dont realize that their pedal is hitting the floor, i was at my friends house saturday and he has a 2010 traverse he tells me the brakes are making a grinding noise. i get in the bugger and his pedal is hitting the floor. tell him to come to my house sunday. yesterday i check all 4 corners nearly nothing left.
