Titan Missile Silo Complex 1C

Hello there!
After making a trip to the 2B complex, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the status of 1C. It seems to be in much better shape, but there's hardly any info on whether it's locked up or not. Thanks!

Then, how do you know it's in much better shape? Post pics, or it didn't happen.

Haha, I'm writing a paper on women's rights.
..... not that women's rights are funny or anything.

It is indeed in better shape, however there is an antenna of sorts now installed at the entrance. Be careful.

Much better shape is right! The complex has been under renovation since the new owners bought it in 2009/10 (for around $1.3M if I recall) and now it's almost like USAF never left!

i WISH it were true- all the titans are headed for ruin, and i cant see anyone saving them- the colorado silo pics i have seen all have tunnels caving in- they WERE round when installed ! LOL Elizabeth seems to have been partially excavated, from the pics i see tunnel metal laying on the ground... one in Washington has a HUGE hole in the powerhouse letting the elements in, and one is being flooded for a diving hole- the tunnels will rot from BOTH sides- Sturgis is gone, mountain home looks like the ground level concrete has been destroyed, Sutter Buttes owner is ignoring the fact the water level is rising, Chico owner/ caretaker just wants to forget its there.... Lincoln is full to the top with water, and has been for MANY years- my bet is anything steel is rotten away......

I will reiterate, the last time I was there was what appeared to be some sort of cell frequency antenna on the entrance. This could be for several reasons... it could be an alarm, it could be flooding alarms... who knows really. The bottom line is that it wasn't there the first time I went, and its there now. So be careful!!!!
