I was on my way to one place when I saw the sign for this. I drove about the facility, noticed the sign for the police barracks and thought, well, I'll never get in here. The place was closed up pretty tight and then I found an entry point and decided I better take the opportunity while I had it.
The place is in fairly good shape, no graffiti and some of the patient records are still in storage there. I'll need to plan a trip back soon but as I said, they seem to do a pretty good job of keeping the place locked down, so who knows if I'll be able to gain entry on a second trip.

There were boxes full of patient charts/files and this one box of patient x-rays. One of the reasons I want to go back is to go through more x-rays and some of the patient charts.

This place used to be one of the worst.
Given the state of abandonments the past 5 years, not this place is one of the best.

I loved the curtains. These are awesome. I'd love to get a chance to explore an old hospital or asylum.
