Why is it the U.S get's the generic bastardized cars, and Europe gets all the cool shit?

There's an ever growing list of cars I'd love to import, E30 touring, Toyota Aygo, and Opel Speedster to name a few.

Ian (my former boss) campaigned a group A Escort Cossie in the Canadian championship for a couple years. In-fucking-credible car. Didn't finish a lot of races, but you've already won when you show up in that thing. Rally cars have to be licensed on the road for transits between stages, and I drove it to a couple of races for somewhat of a "shakedown". Fun road car!!!

Europe can keep certain things though. Citroen 2CV and of course the rarely seen in the wild Diesel E34.....
