I would guess 60's Impala or similar. Looks like it was a dirt track car and they just filled the tail light holes with sheet metal. Sam?

could be. i linked to the huge size pic for help.
the light holes seem to be close, but my pic shows a few other holes from trim or even screws that the fab guy put in it to hold it to the race car, and the angle of the deck changed a lot. mine is a very slight angle. the one in your pic is 75* or so.

I think the angle could be changed from people walking on it, if it's been lying around a wrecking yard for a bit.
Plans for it? Seems like it would be a neat piece to hang on a wall.

Hell no!!
I actually used a trunk lid quite similar to that today to toboggan a VW Microbus engine across a frozen scrapyard. Ended up being a rather productive afternoon off.
