Got some pictures of my favorite drain in the Boulder area. It opens into a 10' RCP and runs about 40' underground for a good while with a few junction rooms. Enjoy!

Holy hell!

I've been exploring for three years, and residing in boulder for one...And somehow I missed this one.

Shame on me. I need to find this one asap.

Also, brilliant camera work from the two of you!

Yeah...We really did

You're right on the infall looking new, but the other junction rooms look pretty old. I'm guessing it was just connecting to older systems though.

If this is the way of new drain architecture, I wouldn't mind too much. Don't get me wrong: I love me some redbrick, but that buffer wall with all the holes is pretty darned cool.

Interesting infall indeed, I honestly feel bad keeping a drain like this super secretive and I always like to make connections so feel free to PM me if you want the details on the location.

A neat spot like that? It's probably better in the long run to keep the volume kinda low. (The intrepid folks'll find it eventually anyway!)

'You visited any of the systems down in Denver?

Found it. ;)

Took a couple hours of satellite browsing, but I found it. I actually found the outfall first, but the infall wasn't too hard to find from there, seeing as it's rather unique.

Drain intuition is a wonderful thing. Anyways, expect pictures soon.

Yum! Spacious and space-agey (the bank of drains). Looks like a scary place to be come spring melt.
I'm not a drainer, but this piques my interest.

After falling through ice on a different occasion, We finally got in.

Let's just say swimming in freezing water is not the best way to get in.

2)

Our queen-sized transportation performed gloriously...until the ice forced it to give in. Let's just say it was an epic 2 hour rescue mission for the stranded drainers.

Well, all in a days work...Drain-walk it off.

Bwahaha! What a freakin' cool system it is. That infall really rivals Phantom Creek. Excellent photos mang, thanks for sharing. Did anybody notice date stamps?

Speechless. I think this deserves a round of applause. We're definitely going to have to visit the Cage again.

Thank you so much.

Boy howdy. Looking for a way in a couple weeks ago I made that mistake, and am not looking to do it again.

I went back again last night with roborodent and got in (without getting wet!) for a few shots. I wasn't really stoked on them, so I made a solo trip this fine evening.

Great find, yo. I really dig this location. I already want to go back...
