Funny they mentioned the Ferret. Looks sweet but not so much in operation. Horrible transmissions.

Horrible list. Even with the Wrangler. Not a JK. This list would shorten your life in an apocalyptic world.

My thought is that you'd want the most versatile vehicle with the best fuel economy (whatever that happens to be).

For ease of repair, room, durability, economy, and fuel availability I would take a late 80's diesel 4x4 Suburban all day long.

I had my motor home fully stocked and ready with a full tank if shit went down. Grab the wife, kids and guns and gtfo, yeah Im a weirdo.

I'd take an old army-issue diesel K5, myself.
Won't you help me, Mr. Jesus, Won't you tell me, if you can When you see this world we live in, Do you still believe in man? |

I'll take like a Honda CRV or Corolla or something. Hell, maybe even a Cavalier... finding spare parts for them would be a piece of cake. Of course, I wouldn't know how to actually fix fuck all on the car.

i have found automotive repair manuals in public libraries... u could make do.

That's a horrible list! I read another one a while ago that was better... it even listed the "U Haul Truck" because each one has survived worse-than-apocalyptic-abuse a few times over.

That's a excellent choice but only reason I'd rather have the civilian 'burban is easier repair and parts. Those military electrical can be odd.

I found the list uneven at best. The Wrangler scores point for being easy to find parts for, and the FJ for overall reliability, but I think I'd want something a little more zombie-proof. http://www.topgear...eries-17-episode-1
