The discussion I aim to spark is one of driving characteristics belonging to specific drive-trains and your experiences with them. Also I have attached a poll for fun factor/handling of the drive-trains.
My personal experience has been with everything but M-R I'd like to see what others have to say and I'll put together my experience as well in a later post.
i like front front for regular driving, but i learned in an aerostar so front-rear is how i learned to do a smoke show or a 360 on a snowy parking lot... if dad only knew what i did with that van!

Driving a powerful front wheel drive car is like holding onto a giant slingshot as it recoils. Feels crazy and out of control. Could be my lack of functioning suspension though.
But how I miss donuts.
Anyway, I voted AWD because it's just fucking better.

my cobalt never felt like that... you just had to launch it like a 5-liter Mustang... gingerly.
I launch gingerly, and throttle it at 2500. When the turbo spools, it's like bouncing wheelhop burnout palooza. Once again though, 2 baseball bats would function better than my blown as fuck macphearson struts.

that was the Cobalt's achilles heel... wheelhop = smashed transmission. Although, my friend Don was never afraid to hatesmash his Cobalt.
