The Veloster is hideous, but what really bothers me is the new Sonata. I think it is easily one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, and its getting rave reviews for being such a good looking car? The fuck?

And I know what you mean about everything trying to look aggressive...The new Camry, for instance. It's a Camry, it's toting soccermoms to the grocery store.

Oh, and:

Finally someone hates the Juke as much as me.

I'm surprised to find someone who hates it just as much as me, too.

The Caliber I think could of been better knowing the GS platform; but however, that was one of the cars during the German occupation of Chrysler were the Mercedes management telling the Chrysler side what to do.

My only complaint on the Caliber is that its advertised as a 4 person car, but thats if all 4 people are 105-lb 17 year old girls who have eating disorders. Its really 2 person car. The engine is OK, but I think considering what was available at the time, there was better options.

i drove both versions of the coupe and just by driving them alone, the powertrain left much to be desired, the interior was odd and the controls and buttons looked like something taken off an 80's boombox.

no thanks.

Yeah... in the interest of full disclosure, I rather enjoy the funky styling of the Juke and the Veloster. They're both too small for me to comfortably fit in, and I don't think they're as sporty as they look, but I think they're fun and a nice push of the design envelope over the wind-tunnel cars we have now.

My current vote for ugly car goes to the new crop of Chevrolets... Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Malibu, Camaro, and New Impala (and count in the Caddy XTS with the new Impala). I CANNOT STAND the new corporate grille... too much chin... looks like Jay Leno with a queer little smile. And the XTS just doesn't look Caddy enough.

Not to say that any of the GMs are bad cars... I've driven several and they were fine, but that schnoz... ugh. Pointed and chinny and just not for me.

Just throwing this out there:

When I saw the '13 redesign for the Taurus, I thought, "Hey, they lifted the entire nose off of an Aston-Martin, which Ford also owns." Then I discovered that they don't own it any more...

Thus, I'm not really sure what to think of it. An Aston's front end just doesn't feel right on a Taurus.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

I like the Cruze alright, I like the Camaro, the Malibu and Impala are pretty vanilla but I don't like or dislike them, and the Spark and Sonic are fuckugly.

And...I think I actually like the Volt.

This thing literally has no reason for existing.

If you want a small car, buy a Toyota iQ or a Smart ForTwo (or something else if you're European). If you want an Aston-Martin, buy an Aston-Martin. If you want a small Aston-Martin, then you should not be allowed to drive a car.

On Top Gear they explained how this came about; its because of CAFE-like legislation in Europe and Aston-Martin was like the only one who didn't have a small economy car for a company of its size.
