Mystery hubcap

Found this in my back yard and for the life of me I cannot figure out what brand of car it goes to. It's driving me a bit nuts.

At first I thought the symbol was for a Mercury, but I have yet to find a match.

Anyone have an idea??

the crest is the emblem used by the Chevrolet Monte Carlo until 1987.
judging by the hubcap, I would say that is the original crest/emblem which means the cap came off a 1970-1974 model.

not really... unless it was an SS 454 Monte Carlo (which had the Chevrolet Rallye wheels), it probably came off gramma's old Monte Carlo.
to someone restoring a Monte, maybe.

UFO.

Ultimate From Olds.

First thought was Oldsmobile, although not their normal logo. GM feel; as Sam says, the full Monte is being shown. They probably used the same wheel covers with different center logos for decades. It looks sort of like my 80 Malibu wagon, except for the logo.
