Hey you might want to just consider adding more to the website before requesting full membership, unless you have already received info about it.

Yeah, if an applicant is low on something like post count or time since registration, we might sit on their application for a while, which is to their advantage.

Would love to become a full member, hard to post when not a lot in my area gets uploaded. Would help me with my degree to fully be able to access the site, however I understand the criteria. As a cultural anthropology student I understand how precious these sites truly are. My lurking on here is fully from a research standpoint and fully respect the rules of the admin(s).

There are quite a few folks on here that got FM without sharing pics (although it's likely they knew someone in UER and explored with them). Pics certainly make it easier, but checking in often and having positive notes to share on existing threads holds a lot of weight too. I would definitely consider starting a new thread sharing some details on your research. While that may not grant you FM, a lot of seasoned folks here may ultimately reach out to you to lend a hand in your project. There are some still active UER legends in TX, although the absolute King of the TX DB hasn't logged in for a few months. I am not gonna name drop the explorers though, as while I have lurked here for 10ish years, I've only been an active member a short period of time and don't know anyone here on a personal level. Been exploring for 30+ years, been a member here for almost 6. Love getting out and meeting people to explore with, there's a certain group from Melbourne I meet up with who are full members here. I take pics where I can I don't give details, just post pics of places I've been to. I would like to be a full member eventually however long it takes, 30 years is a long time to be doing this.
I'll get there one day.

It could be possible if you get your friends to vouch for you. Seven posts is low, but these days I wouldn't want to rule out someone for that if they are already trusted.

I joined in 2016, but was out of action for a few years. I'm in Australia, not sure what forums I can and can't post in here. I do know people I make friends and do what I love doing, it's about building trust and I don't care how long it takes I'll earn it because I'm in it for the right reasons.

I know of a few members who are on here, they're in the same group of explorers we get together on most weekends down here. There's not many people in my city on here, so outside of that group there's pretty much no one else who I can meet to explore with. There are other people but a lot do their own thing, they're not interested in meeting or exploring with other people.
