I wish the impossible project Polaroids were a bit cheaper. With the price of shipping, it adds up to about 4$ per shot I have an old Polaroid lying around but never use it because of the cost. I might invest in a fuji instant camera, it seems a lot cheaper.

I don't get it off their website anymore; Amazon and B&H offer free shipping if you get at least two packs. Also worth noting: when SX-70 film was released in 1972 the price for a pack of 10 exposures was $6.90; adjusted for inflation that's $38.98 a pack, or almost $3.90 a shot. Impossible's film is cut to 8 exposures at $23.49 a pack, which comes to just under $3 a shot. If you get their newsletter they've been running all kinds of sales over the last year, too. All things considered: yes it's still high, but it could be worse.

Posted by fiftyone_eggs I didn't take this picture, but I did find it in an abandoned inner-city apartment complex - and it is a Polaroid (that shows somebody holding another Polaroid) so I'm posting it. http://farm4.stati...2_83451d828b_o.jpg

^Yup, that's a FP-3000B negative and there's nothing to the process either, really: just scan, mirror image, invert and correct tones to your liking. FP-100C, however, requires a piece of glass and you bleach the black side, the scrub that black masking off with a paintbrush. There's a few howtos for that process out there...

Duuude. The location of #4 almost made me cry upon climbing in. I'm a big fan of vintage furniture and such, so this place was a nightmare for me. Haha.
