Looks like a Hyundai Genesis. The rear spoiler doesn't do much for me.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

Relative light weight, decent handling, reasonable pricing, enough power? Sounds like what everyone wanted as the car was being designed, but now everyone is bitching that it's too heavy, handles poorly, has shit handling, and is low on power. I think the people that actually buying these cars are going to be buying them for the status, not how well they perform.

I have heard, however, that the Scion/Toyota version of the car has a better suspension.

I'll probably buy an FR-S.

I'm going to drive my subie until it dies, then maybe resurrect it, don't know yet. $25K (really more like $30K said and done) is a hell of a STI/rally swap or an older M5 with low mileage.

jeez... how many times has Subaru been down this road? the XT: too heavy, not enough power, oddball styling. The SVX, same deal... not enough power, too heavy, questionable styling and available only with an automatic?

I don't think it looks anything like a Genesis.

Apparently the rear spoiler is a option.

I like the appearance of the car. I'm not overly concerned with it's other shortcomings.

This was one of the only cars I actually liked the look of at the auto show this year.

At least it doesn't look like a Nissan Juke.

it really was a shame that the Aztek was so fucking ugly outside. The interior was actually pretty neat. It always reminded me of the interior of a vehicle from Halo or something.

It was such a cool idea. Yes I'm actually saying that. It was just really poorly executed on the outside.

Compared to some of today's cars it really doesn't look that bad now. (75% of which are Nissans and Infinitis... man they make some ugly shit as of late)

The standard transmission is a 6 speed manual. There is an optional 6 speed automatic, available for only $1100 more.

+howevermany on the Nissan Juke. That is the ugliest motherfucker ever.

Also agreed that Nissan and Infinity's cars are hideous these days...And I raise you Lincoln and Acura.

I'd like to ask a Juke owner how and why they decided that was the most appropriate vehicle to purchase.

Yep!

The Nissan Armada looks like a round pickup truck which someone has added a cap to... and then blended it in. All of their cars have that silly notched out portion of the lights. The only car of theirs I don't find truly offensive is the Cube, and that's because it's supposed to be funny looking and they aren't trying to sell it as anything more than what it is. It's a damn cube.

And yeah, Lincoln stuff is freaking hideous and ditto with Acura. That whole cheese grater grille design on the Lincoln really doesn't do it for me.

You'll probably hate me for saying this, but I think it's a very Beetle-esque approach. It's compact, it's cute, it's popular among young people, and they're not marketing as anything it isn't. I really do want one, regardless of the fact that it's a box on wheels (although an endearing box, at that).
